Door-to-door delivery in Dubai: how 7Edition free pickup actually works

If you’ve rented a car in Dubai before, you know the friction: queues at the airport rental desk, paperwork in a hot kiosk, then a long taxi ride to wherever you’re actually staying. We built 7Edition’s pickup model to remove every step of that.

How door-to-door delivery works

Tell us where you want the car — your hotel, residence, the airport curb, an office in DIFC, a villa in Palm Jumeirah — and we drive it there. You sign the paperwork on the spot, take the keys, and you’re moving. When the rental ends, we collect the car from wherever you finish your trip.

• Pickup: free anywhere in Dubai. We arrive at the time you set on WhatsApp.
• Handover: 5–10 minutes. License check, walkaround, signature, keys.
• Return: same flexibility. We come to you.

Where we deliver, exactly

Anywhere within Dubai is included with no surcharge. That covers Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, JBR, Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah, JLT, Deira, Bur Dubai, Dubai Hills, DIFC, Sheikh Zayed Road, and Al Barsha. DXB and DWC airports are also free.

Outside Dubai (Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Hatta) we still deliver — there’s a small distance-based fee that we’ll quote upfront on WhatsApp. No surprise charges at handover.

What you’ll need ready

• A valid driving licence — UAE, GCC, or a recognised international permit.
• Passport (or Emirates ID, for residents).
• The credit or debit card you’ll use for the deposit (waived on selected models).

Send those over WhatsApp before the delivery time and we’ll have the contract pre-filled. Most handovers complete in under ten minutes from the moment we arrive.

Why we do it this way

Our fleet is small — six premium German cars (Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz). We don’t run an airport counter or a depot, so there’s no rental queue and no shuttle bus. The savings on overheads go back into newer cars and into bringing them to you. It’s a quieter way to rent.
